After Hasbro's successful revival of the original Marvel Legends line, Return of Marvel Legends, Hasbro restructured the line in 2014 under the title Marvel Legends: Infinite Series, while at the same time rebranding the Marvel Universe as "Marvel Legends". Under the new Infinite Series banner, Marvel Legends went from waves of largely unconnected varying figures to more focused waves- based around a single franchise, including variations of a main character, their supporting cast and villains with a related build-a-figure. The individual series also time to releases of films- starting with 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

With the launch of the Infinite Series, the Marvel Legends line reached new heights of sales success- propelling the Marvel brand to the third highest grossing toyline in the United States, lapping Hasbro's previous biggest winner, Star Wars. The line would further expand to include deluxe scale figures with vehicles pack-ins, called the "Riders Series", as well as 1:1 scale life-sized role-play items.

Marvel Legends Anniversary Series (2018)[]

Beginning in 2018, Hasbro began an additional price-point of Marvel Legends figures released independent of their normal wave-based release style, with each year's selection being based on various anniversaries tied to that year, beginning with the 10th anniversary celebration of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The figures for these Anniversary Series typically retail about $5.00 more than the cost of a normal Build-A-Figure or Retro Series release, and are packaged in slightly more elaborate windowed boxes, often with connecting artwork to create murals and posters. The Anniversary packs are supported in multiple SKUs including single figures and multipacks.

Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years Collection (2018)[]

Celebrating the tenth anniversary of the release of 2008's Iron Man film and the subsequent launch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years Collection was intended to highlight characters and films from across the saga, allowing Hasbro to go back and release characters they had missed during the original film releases, and to update out-of-date designs with more modern figures. Each figure was packaged in an elaborate windowed box with side profile art inspired by movie posters, which would each connect with every other set to create one large mural depicting the timeline of the movies up to that point.

Marvel 80th Anniversary Series (2019)[]

Commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Marvel Comics brand itself, the 80th Anniversary Series followed a similar style to the previous year's Marvel Studios Collection, with a slate of single released figures and multipacks, based primarily on more classic takes on core characters from across the Marvel Universe, with many characters based primarily on the art of Alex Ross.

An additional series of fan-channel figures were released under the 80th Anniversary banner, sold at closer to normal retail prices and in more traditional looking Build-A-Figure wave style packaging. The fan-channel figures were largely repaints of core characters into various niche alternate looks. Finally, to round out the assortment, a number of multipacks based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe were included in the line-up as a follow up to the previous year's collection, including even more niche unmade characters and variants.

X-Men 20th Anniversary (2020)[]

Releasing to celebrate the 20th Anniversary for the Fox X-Men film franchise, following Disney's acquisition of the Fox film and IP library which brought the films into the same licensing space as the rest of the Marvel Universe, removing the last roadblocks preventing Hasbro from creating figures based on the movies, which had not received any Legends scale action figure tie-ins since the X-3: The Last Stand figures released in Hasbro's first Marvel Legends waves in 2007.

The figures are sourced from across several eras of the film saga, including the original trilogy, the First Class reboot timeline, and a selection of characters based on Deadpool 2. In addition to these movie figures, a series of multipacks based on comic figures were also released in the same packaging style.

Marvel Studios: The Infinity Saga Collection (2021)[]

The Anniversary themed collection released in 2021, the Infinity Saga Collection, was a direct follow up to 2018's original First Ten Years Collection, once again focusing on releasing figures based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, focusing both on new releases of characters that had not yet received figures, as well as updates for figures that had been based on concept art or no longer measured up to modern status. The majority of the figures released were based on Avengers: Endgame.

Marvel Legends 20th Anniversary (2022)[]

2022 features the 20th Anniversary of the Marvel Legends brand itself, and to commemorate the milestone, Hasbro has announced a series of figures in packaging inspired by the original 2002 Toybiz clamshells, with elaborate background art based on the old sculpted bases included in the original figures, with a reversible side featuring a comic cover inspired by the Toybiz pack-in comic. The first announced figures are recreations of the original 2002 wave.
